We are hosting another Charity Art Competition!
We will be hosting a huge secret postcard-style event where local artists of all ages can create their artwork on a 5×7″ postcard which will be available for sale in aid of the two charities.
This year’s theme will be:
“FROM A – Z”
which will see a focus on the different letters of the Alphabet.
Entrants will be able to collect their postcard from us here in the Gallery, and will then be given a designated Letter of the Alphabet. This letter will become the focus of their work, be it in terms of subject, the medium they use or another aspect that they see fit!
(For example, if the letter you are given is A, you may choose to create a still-life of an Apple, use Acrylic paint as your medium, or create an Abstract piece of work, or simply decorate a large letter A….the choice is yours!)
Entry fees do apply, but these include the cost of your postcard and the frame your piece will be hung in!
Adults (ages 14+) – £6
Children (ages 6-13) – £3
There will be prizes awarded within both age categories, as well as a ‘People’s Choice’ Award!

Entries close at 4pm on Saturday 20th October 2018.
Works must be returned to the Gallery by no later than 4pm on Saturday 10th November 2018
(so that we can frame them in time!)
Please ensure that when you return your postcard, all of the details on the back are filled in!
There will be a preview evening event (Date TBC), and the exhibition will officially open on Tuesday 28th November 2018!
